A light dusting of snow and poor light makes today a perfect Nordic Black day. When natural light is non existent and snowy mornings mean you’d rather hibernate til spring than rush outside to greet the day, warm fairy lights diffused through glass bauble chandeliers are essential to create a soft ski chalet glow reminscent of flickering flames reflected on snow clad windows. The Reindeer in the first photo is made form Harris Tweed stitched around an upcycled bicycle seat skull. The molecular structure of the chandelier could easily be a snowflake but is actually made from scientific glass. The refracted light above creates a magical ethereal glow below and standing within the light’s rays you are transfixed by magical light halos from another universe. Both show stopping pieces are exclusive to Casa Morada, Edinburgh.
